Facial recognition

Facial recognition is the process of identifying a person using images of their face.  Facial recognition uses biometrics to capture and analyze patterns and features on the person’s face, then transforms this information into digital data and matches this with other ID information to verify the person’s identity. Facial recognition is a hugely important technology in the AML process. SmartSearch has taken facial recognition a step further and also uses Customer Selfie Liveness Video to compare the ‘real person’ with the document provided to allow for the most efficient and reliable identification and verification available.
