Role Description

The Business Support Assistant will be part of a team that is at the heart of the business, supporting every department and providing a friendly and helpful service as the first point of contact for inbound calls when reception is busy. They provide vital support to the Sales and Account Management Teams with administration tasks that require accuracy and attention to detail. They are also available to help Senior Management. Where necessary they will need to show the initiative to improve the processes involved in their role.

A high level of customer service must be extended to all current and potential clients at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Creating promotional packs and proposals
  • Producing contracts for New Business sales and Account Management upsells 
  • Verifying Sales handover documents and processing through to Account Management
  • Client International Check Request ordering and processing including additional due diligence to the returned report 
  • Producing welcome letters for Account Management introductions • Countersigned Agreements returned to the client, recorded and stored on the system admin area
  • Director reports on an adhoc basis
  • Producing client audit reports
  • Answering telephone calls professionally, and directing them in an appropriate way
  • Covering Reception when required including welcoming visitors and providing refreshments during their visit
  • Providing support to other staff as needed
  • Scanning, photocopying, binding and managing internal administration where necessary

  • Performance and manner on the telephone and level of efficiency when dealing with inbound calls and directing them to the relevant person
  • Quality and completion of all administration tasks
